We explore the six basic feelings of sadness, anger, fear, joy, power, and peace, and how they can branch out into more specific emotions. Furthermore, we delve into the physical manifestations of anxiety and the significance of paying attention to our bodies to grasp the holistic impact of our emotional well-being. Additionally, we discuss the valuable messages our emotions carry and the act of self-compassion that arises when we listen to these messages. There are times when we shy away from our feelings because they may be signaling a need to care for ourselves physically or emotionally.
